Teachers’ Day is celebrated every year on September 5 to honour the contribution of teachers to society. This day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan who was a philosopher, writer and the second President of India. The relationship between a teacher and a student is very special. Teachers play an important role in making their students’ lives successful and Bollywood has portrayed this relationship very well in many of its films. The film is based on a deaf and mute boy cricketer and his mentor who helps him become successful in life. Naseeruddin Shah plays the role of the mentor in the film who guides Iqbal to fulfill his dream of playing in the Indian cricket team.
