Every Friday in India, there is a festival of films, that is, films are released in cinemas. The box office tests these films. Some films pass the box office test, while some fail. At the same time, there are some that emerge as toppers with unmatched success. Now is the era of OTT and multiplexes, earlier films used to be released in single screen cinemas. Even in that era, fans used to crowd outside the talkies to watch the films of their favorite stars, stand in long lines for hours and buy tickets from the ticket window and then enjoy the movie. Many times it also used to happen that by the time the people standing in the queue reached the ticket window, all the tickets were sold and a housefull board was put up outside the cinema halls. In that era, black marketing of tickets was also very common.
