Kangana Ranaut, who is currently busy promoting her film ‘Emergency’, recently made a very interesting revelation. The actress told how she once hit a police car because of Deepika Padukone. Kangana Ranaut told this interesting story while talking to Mashable India.
Kangana remembers the days when she learned driving
During the conversation, Kangana Ranaut recalled the days when she was learning driving. The actress says that while learning to drive, she often collided with other vehicles. Kangana recalled that she and Deepika Padukone debuted at almost the same time and both learned driving in the same driving school. Both lived in Bandra then.

Recalling this incident, Kangana said- ‘Deepika Padukone and I entered Bollywood at almost the same time. She debuted in 2007 and I in 2006. We lived in Bandra then and went to the same driving school. I gave my driving test for the first time. I drove my Santro and hit an auto rickshaw. The driver came out screaming and then I realized that I had pressed the accelerator instead of the brake. The auto driver got so scared that he ran away. He must have been thinking what a crazy woman she is. After this I stopped driving.’
Kangana had hit the police jeep
Kangana told further. She said- ‘After five years I saw Deepika driving an SUV and thought ‘we were in the same driving school. Learned driving at the same time, she is driving and I still can’t drive.’ It became a matter of pride. So I decided to try driving again. I had a BMW till then. I practiced hard for a week and went for the driving test. This time there was a police jeep in front of my car. I again made the same mistake, pressing the accelerator instead of the brake. The driver said- Madam, you have hit a police car.’
