Railways has said in its reply that the sheets, pillows and towels provided in AC coaches are cleaned after every use. For this, there are 46 departmental laundries across the country. At the same time, cleaning of blankets is done only once a month. If the blanket gets wet or something falls on it, it is cleaned in between.
