Do you also check your blood pressure at home? First know what is the right way to do this

Some people check their BP at home so that they can know whether it has increased or decreased. To keep BP under control, we have to improve our lifestyle with good eating habits. Checking BP means that we check the flow of blood in the body so that the blood is flowing properly in the body. If the flow is very high then the flow may be fast i.e. high BP and if the flow is slow then there may be a complaint of low BP. Heart attack can also occur due to fast flow of blood in the body. The numbers to measure in high BP and low BP should be this

Blood pressure range should be 120/80 mmHg. When the blood pressure of any person goes below 90/60. So this condition is called low BP or hypotension. BP more than 140/90 is considered as high blood pressure.

Take special care of these things while measuring BP at home

While checking BP, if your hand starts trembling and trembling, then check BP in the other hand.

Tie your hand in the middle of the wrist band of the BP device so that the hand remains in the right place. While tying the hand, keep it properly on the table. With this you will be able to find the correct measurement.

Do not drink tea or coffee half an hour before checking BP. Because this may affect the measurement number.

While getting your BP checked, sit straight on a chair even at home. You can check BP three times a day.

Do not take any medicine before checking BP. If you have taken medicine, check BP only after an hour.

Do not check BP immediately after exercise or bathing. Relax for 5-10 minutes before taking BP.

Check BP at a fixed time.

Do not talk or get angry while checking BP.

One should check BP while sitting on a chair.

BP should be checked at the same time every day.
