Curd is rich in good bacteria, vitamins, proteins, magnesium, calcium and potassium. That is why it is beneficial for health in every season.

However, people with respiratory problems should avoid eating curd after 5 pm as it can cause mucus, especially people suffering from allergies and asthma.

Curd is rich in Vitamin C, which makes it great for people suffering from cold. However, curd should not be eaten cold but should be eaten as per room temperature.

Do not eat curd at night – According to Ayurveda, curd should not be consumed during winter, especially at night because it increases the secretion from your glands, which also increases the secretion of mucus. Due to which health related problems can occur. If you have respiratory problems like asthma, sinus or cold and cough then you should not eat curd during winter and especially at night.
