NCRB report on heart attack, 12 percent of deaths due to heart attack in India

According to a new report of the ‘National Crime Records Bureau’ (NCRB), the number of deaths due to heart attacks in 2022 has increased by 12.5 percent as compared to 2021. The report said that 32,457 people died due to heart attacks in 2022, which is much more than the 28,413 deaths recorded last year. The report also reveals that the number of deaths due to heart attacks has increased continuously since Covid-19. It has also been said in many researches that due to Coronavirus, the function of the heart has been greatly affected. According to the data, the rate of sudden deaths has also increased in the year 2022. The total number of sudden deaths in the year 2022 is quite surprising. The figures number 56,450, which shows a worrying increasing trend in the last three years.

The number of deaths due to heart attack has increased significantly in last three years.

In the year 2022, this figure will reach 56,450. Which is an increase of 10.1% from last year’s figure of 50,739. ‘NCRB’ has defined sudden death in its report. There has been a continuous increase in deaths due to heart attack and brain stroke. This figure decreased from 28,579 in the year 2020 to 28,413 in 2021, and then increased to 32,457 in 2022.

This causes heart attack

Experts have pointed out many factors that increase the risk of heart attack. Like high sodium diet, lack of exercise, smoking, drinking excessive alcohol, not being very active etc. According to health experts, high hemoglobin levels can also increase your heart risk. Stroke and blood clots, known as polycythemia. A condition where there are increased red cells in the human body due to abnormalities in the bone marrow.

These extra cells thicken the blood. Slows down its flow and can cause serious problems like blood clots.
