Ever since the news came that Sahara Group founder Subrata Roy died due to cardiorespiratory arrest, many questions regarding this disease are being searched on social media. Actually, cardiorespiratory arrest and cardiopulmonary arrest are terms that are often used interchangeably. Both cause sudden stoppage of heart and lung function. Which means that cardiorespiratory arrest occurs due to stoppage of both breathing and blood circulation. In both cases, it is a dangerous situation which can lead to loss of life if attention is not given in time.
Cardiorespiratory arrest occurs due to failure of lungs and heart function.
Cardiorespiratory arrest occurs due to the lungs and heart not functioning properly and stopping. This condition usually occurs due to problems in the functioning of the heart which often hinders the functioning of the heart. When the heart stops beating. Due to which oxygen is not able to reach the body and later it takes a dangerous form. Due to blood circulation, oxygen reaches every cell of the body and when it fails, oxygen does not reach the organs and cells properly and they stop working.
Causes and treatment of cardiorespiratory arrest
It is important to understand the causes and treatment of cardiopulmonary arrest. Cardiopulmonary arrest refers to the sudden stoppage of the function of both the heart and lungs. We can also underline the difference between cardiopulmonary arrest versus heart attack. Sudden cardiac arrest is not the same as a heart attack when blood flow to a part of the heart is blocked. Heart attack and sudden cardiac arrest are very different. Heart attacks are often caused by pipeline problems along with reduced or blocked blood flow. Cardiac arrest occurs when the heart does not function properly, that is, the right amount of blood does not reach the heart, due to which there is a lack of oxygen in the body.
If sudden cardiac arrest is not treated immediately, it often results in death. Therefore, it is very important to treat it immediately. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) using a defibrillator or simply providing chest compressions can increase the chances of survival until emergency services arrive. There are many reasons due to which cardiac arrest occurs and if left untreated, it can lead to certain death. However, despite the fact that the condition is treatable, sometimes the symptoms of cardiac arrest go unrecognized. Apart from all this, heart disease is considered to be the main cause of cardiac arrest.
