Death penalty to culprits associated with PFI.
Kochi: Kerala court has announced the punishment in the murder case of BJP leader. The court has sentenced all 14 convicts associated with PFI to death. Let us tell you that recently the Kerala court had found the accused associated with SDPI guilty in the murder case of a BJP leader in the year 2021. BJP leader Ranjeet was murdered in his own house in front of the eyes of his mother, wife and daughter. Now the court has also announced the punishment in this murder case.

Additional District Judge, Mavelikkara V.G. Sridevi sentenced 14 convicts on Tuesday. The prosecution, while seeking maximum punishment for the culprits, had said that these PFI members were a well-trained gang that carried out the murders and the brutal and gruesome manner in which the victim was killed in front of his mother, child and wife. That puts it in the “rarest of the rare” category of crime. Keeping this in mind, the court has given this decision.

In fact, the court has sentenced the members associated with PFI and SDPI in the murder case of BJP leader Ranjit Srinivas. All the accused are members of banned organization PFI and its political wing SDPI. Let us tell you that BJP leader Ranjit Srinivas was a lawyer by profession. Ranjit was murdered on 19 December 2021 in his house in Vellakinar, Alappuzha, in front of his mother, wife and younger daughter. Regarding this matter, the police say that SDPI people have carried out this to avenge the murder of State Secretary KS Shan before the murder of Ranjit. Ranjit’s murder was a retaliatory action by SDPI people.
