197 out of 353 arrested in support of Amritpal Singh released, Punjab DGP’s instructions – do not trap anyone unnecessarily

Chandigarh. Khalistani supporter and chief of ‘Waris Punjab De’ Amritpal Singh (Amritpal Singh) is still out of the custody of the police. Police and NIA teams are raiding all over the place to find him. In this case, the Punjab Police has informed that 353 people were arrested so far, out of which 197 have been released. At the same time, 40 big criminals have been arrested in this. 7 have been detained under NSA.

In this matter, Punjab’s DGP Gaurav Yadav has issued guidelines in the campaign against Amritpal Singh. Instructing the SSPs of all the districts, he said that no one should be unnecessarily harassed by linking them to the matter. The Punjab Police is releasing those people who had the slightest indication of their connection with Amritpal Singh. On the instructions of the Punjab government, the police have issued instructions not to implicate people unnecessarily in this matter.

Akal Takht gave this message to Punjab Police
Meanwhile, Jathedar of Akal Takht Giani Harpreet Singh has given a special message to fugitive Amritpal. He has advised the chief of ‘Waris Punjab De’ to surrender before the police and cooperate in the investigation. The Jathedar of Akal Takht has also questioned the police and asked why they have not been able to arrest Amritpal yet?

Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh said that ‘if Amritpal Singh has already been arrested, then the police should disclose this fact’. At the same time, the Jathedar has also called a special meeting of about 60 to 70 Sikh organizations, Madrasas and Nihang organizations to discuss the situation in Punjab. It is being told that the representative of any political party has not been invited in this.
