According to a PMO release on Friday, PM Modi will inaugurate these trains between Meerut-Lucknow, Madurai-Bengaluru and Chennai-Nagercoil through video conferencing at 12.30 pm. Meerut City-Lucknow Vande Bharat will save about one hour, Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil Vande Bharat will save 2 hours and Madurai-Bengaluru Vande Bharat will save one and a half hours of travel time. The new Vande Bharat trains will provide world-class service to the people of the respective regions to travel with speed and convenience. The long-standing demand of the people of the three states (Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka) will be fulfilled.

According to the official release issued in Chennai, PM Modi will flag off Dr. MGR Chennai Central-Nagercoil Vande Bharat and Madurai- Bengaluru Cantonment Vande Bharat Express through video conference. It was told that the Vande Bharat Express running to Nagarcoil will be flagged off from Dr. MGR Chennai Central station only on the day of inauguration. But, its regular service will be from Chennai Egmore (Chennai Egmore). It will be operated on the rest of the week except Wednesday.

According to the release, train number 20627 Vande Bharat Express will depart from Chennai Egmore at 5 am and reach Nagercoil at 1.50 pm on the same day. It will stop at Tambaram, Villupuram, Tiruchirapalli, Dindugal, Madurai, Kovilpatti and Tirunelveli before reaching Nagercoil Junction. It was told that on the return journey, it will depart from Nagercoil Junction as train number 20628 at 2.20 pm and reach Chennai Egmore at 11 pm.
Vande Bharat between Madurai and Bengaluru Cantonment
Let us tell you that Vande Bharat service between Madurai and Bengaluru Cantonment will be operated 6 days a week except Tuesday. As train number 20671, it will leave Madurai at 5.15 am and reach Bengaluru Cantonment at 1 pm. According to Southern Railway, this train will leave Bengaluru Cantonment at 1.30 pm and reach Madurai at 9.45 pm. The train will stop at Dindugal, Tiruchirappalli, Karur, Namakkal, Salem and Krishnarajapuram on both sides.
