Today’s weather: The pace of departure of monsoon seems to have slowed down at the moment. IMD i.e. India Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility that the weather may remain dry in many northwestern states including Delhi.

IMD has said on Monday that there may be sporadic to light rain in Uttarakhand, East Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan this week. At the same time, in the remaining areas of the northwest, there is a possibility of rain for the next 2 days and dry weather for the next 5 days. There may be moderate rain in Central India this week. There are chances of rain in Konkan and Goa this week. Dry weather is expected in Saurashtra and Kutch from October 2.
Light to moderate rain is expected in most of the northeastern states this week. Also, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal may receive sporadic to moderate rain during 7 days. The Meteorological Department has said that there may be heavy rain in South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal till 30 September and in Kerala, Mahe till 1 October.
When will monsoon depart from UP-Delhi?
