358 new cases of corona in the country during the last 24 hours, 300 patients came from Kerala alone.

300 patients came from Kerala only

According to the data released by the Health Ministry, 358 new cases of corona have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. In this also, maximum 300 cases have been reported from Kerala only. However, these cases do not include the cases of Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka and Uttarakhand. Along with this, 6 people have also died due to Corona in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 230 patients have also recovered from Corona.

Currently 2669 patients are suffering from Corona in the country

According to the Health Ministry, currently 2669 patients are suffering from Corona in the country. Of these, 91-92% people are getting treatment at home. The symptoms of the virus are quite mild in patients with the new variant. However, there is nothing to panic about. WHO has said that the existing vaccine is effective against this new variant but caution is needed. Along with this, WHO has said that people should avoid going to crowded areas and should also wear masks in areas with closed or polluted air.

Advice on wearing masks issued in Chandigarh

Amid the rapidly increasing cases in India, a fresh level warning has been issued in many states and cities. The administration has taken a big decision in Chandigarh, the capital of Punjab and Haryana. Here people have been advised to wear masks. Along with this it has been said that people should avoid going to crowded areas. Along with this, people going to the hospital have been asked to wear masks compulsorily. Along with this, the Union Health Ministry has advised all the states to take additional precautions. The government has said that corona tests should be increased in the districts. Along with this, hospitals have also been asked to remain on alert.
