50 countries and 30 states participated in the tourism expo
New Delhi. More than 1250 exhibitors from 50 countries and 30 states participated in the tourism expo. The show is being held from 2 to 4 February 2023 at Jio World Convention Centre, BKC, Mumbai. Around 30000 visitors are expected at OTM Mumbai. The central government expects the Indian tourism market to reach over US$ 45 billion by 2025, making India one of the largest business travel markets globally.
The inauguration ceremony of OTM Mumbai was attended by Dr. Saud Mohammed Al-Sati, Ambassador of the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Abdulla Moussoom, Minister of Tourism, Maldives, Jyoti Mayal, President, Travel Agents Association of India and Sanjeev Agarwal.
Tourism boards and suppliers from Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Bangkok, Cambodia, Fiji, Israel, Kenya, Korea, Maldives, Mauritius, Nepal, Qatar, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sri Lanka and Thailand and private players from several countries have participated in the expo .
The three-day exhibition has a dedicated floor for domestic participation. Apart from the Union Ministry of Tourism, the State Tourism Boards of Assam, Bihar, Daman and Diu, Delhi, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh And private players from many other states are promoting their destinations.
