Bodies of five more people have been recovered during search and rescue operations after an under-construction seven-storey building collapsed in Babusapalya in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar inspected the incident site. He has said that this under-construction building in Bengaluru was illegal and strict action will be taken against its owner. He said, “I was told that no permission was given. Illegal activities were going on. We will take strict action against the owner, contractor and everyone involved. All illegal construction across Bengaluru will be stopped immediately. Contractors, officials and even That the property owners, all will be booked under the law.
Deputy CM said, “According to the information I received, there were 21 laborers here. 26 people work here every day.

The video of the time of the building collapse has also surfaced. This video was captured in a CCTV camera located near the incident site. In the video the entire house can be seen collapsing together. Everyone is shocked to see the video of the incident.
