Bundi. Once again a heart-wrenching incident of gang rape has come to the fore in Rajasthan. Some youths took away a 15-year-old girl who had come to attend a wedding ceremony at a relative’s place in Bundi district of Kota division of Rajasthan. Later eight youths gang-raped her. After the gangrape, the accused fled leaving the victim. The police, which became active after the report of the victim, arrested all the accused. Two minors are also included in the accused.
Bundi Deputy Superintendent of Police Omendrasinh Shekhawat told that the incident took place on May 30 in Namana police station area of Bundi district. A 15-year-old minor girl from Bijolia area had come here to attend a wedding ceremony. This minor was going to defecate. During that time some youths kidnapped him. Later, the accused gang-raped the minor and fled.

The victim had filed a report against the accused on May 31
After that, on May 31, the victim along with her family members reached Namana police station and registered a case against the accused. On this, on the report of the victim, the police registered a case against the accused under serious sections including the POCSO Act. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, police teams were immediately formed and the search for the accused was started.
Six of the accused arrested and two detained
After that, the police searched for the accused and arrested them. The police have arrested six adult accused. The rest of the accused are minors. They have been detained. Medical examination of the victim has been done. The arrested accused include Foru, Sonu, Bablu, Kanhaiya, Lekhraj and Bunty. The remaining two child abusers will be produced in the Child Welfare Court. The police is seriously investigating the whole matter. It is worth mentioning that in Bundi district, serious crimes have increased tremendously in the past. Especially the cases of rape and gangrape have increased a lot.
