A shocking case of gang rape of a girl has come to light in Buddha Jayanti Park located in Chanakyapuri, the capital of Delhi. The crime was committed in broad daylight by one of the girl’s friends along with his partner. An FIR has been registered in Chanakyapuri police station on the complaint of the victim. The police have arrested both the accused. This park of Delhi is very huge and famous. There is a lot of hustle and bustle here throughout the day.
According to the information, the girl lives with her family in outer Delhi area. On Tuesday, the girl had come to Buddha Garden to roam with one of her friends. Here she was sitting with her friends. During that time, a friend of the boy also came. The girl alleges that both the boys threatened her and gang-raped her.
After this, both of them left her there and fled. The victim somehow reached Karol Bagh police station from here and told the police about the entire incident. The girl told them that this incident happened in Buddha Garden. Karol Bagh police took the girl to Chanakya Puri police station and informed about the incident.
The police reached Buddha Garden with the girl on Tuesday evening, where she showed them the crime scene. The police caught both the accused on Wednesday afternoon. Both have been arrested after preliminary interrogation.
It is worth mentioning that earlier in 2003, a student was gang-raped by four people in Buddha Garden. Also, two weeks ago, an air hostess was molested on Simon Bolivar Marg, a little away from here, and an attempt was made to kill her when she resisted.
