Mandsaur: A shocking case has come to light from Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh. Here, a person’s dead mother’s photo has been updated on his Aadhaar card. This person’s mother died 2 years ago. Now this person is tired of running around the officials, but his photo is not getting updated on his Aadhaar card. The person says that he is not even able to get the benefits of government schemes.
What is the whole matter?
A case has come up in the weekly public hearing in the Collector’s auditorium in Mandsaur. In which a son has been making rounds for a long time with his dead mother’s Aadhaar card. His mother’s photo has been updated in the son’s Aadhaar card, for which he has been making rounds for 2 years to get it corrected but no solution has been found till now.
During the public hearing, farmer Ishwar Lala Patidar, resident of Chikla in Sitamau tehsil, said that instead of his photo, his mother Bhagu Bai’s photo, who died 2 years ago, has been pasted in his Aadhaar card. The victim also said that he and his mother have separate Aadhaar cards but the photo in both is the same.

The victim has been visiting the Aadhaar centre for several days but the photo is not changing in the Aadhaar. The victim has requested the collector to get this mistake corrected. The victim says that despite repeatedly trying to get his Aadhaar card corrected, this problem is not being resolved.
The victim says that because of the wrong photo, he is unable to avail the benefits of the administration’s schemes. Because of this, he is not getting the Samman Nidhi for his agricultural land. (Input: Ashok Parmar)
