The great war going on between Ukraine and Russia since February 2022 is not coming to an end. Despite the death of millions and the destruction of property worth billions, neither Russia has stepped back nor Ukraine has accepted its defeat. For the last few weeks, Ukraine has started attacks within Russia. Now Ukraine is also giving equal competition to Russia. This has made Putin furious. Amidst all this, there are reports that new consignments of weapons and ballistic missiles are reaching Russia and Ukraine. Iran is accused of helping Russia. At the same time, in a counter attack, the British government also announced to supply 650 light missiles worth billions to Ukraine.
Ukraine raised the issue of Iran’s help to Russia in front of the foreign ministers of America and Britain. Ukraine alleged that short-range ballistic missiles are being supplied to Russia in the war. At the same time, there was a demand for action against Iran in the matter on America and Britain. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said during his visit to London that Iran has ignored our warnings and there is a danger of conflict escalation due to such supplies. Western countries including America have announced sanctions on Iran. However, it has not yet been confirmed on the battlefield that Iran has helped Russia with ballistic missiles, as there is no evidence of the use of Iranian missiles by Russia yet. Iran has also rejected these allegations of America and Ukraine’s Western friends as baseless and false. Iran termed these allegations as hypocrisy of the West.
Special agreement between Britain and Ukraine
On the other hand, Britain has also promised to supply 650 light multipurpose missiles worth 162 million British currency to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense. The British government announced that it will continue to do so as long as it deems it necessary. The special help being given to Ukraine by Britain is part of a financial package of 3 billion pounds per year.
In July this year, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky sought arms assistance from the British government during his visit to London. For this, a new defense export assistance treaty was signed between the Defense Secretary and Zelensky. This agreement agreed to increase arms production between both Britain and Ukraine.
What help did Iran provide to Russia
According to sources, Iran has recently provided short-range ballistic missiles to Russia to help in the conflict against Ukraine. US and Western officials have been warning about this for almost a year. He did not say how many weapons have been provided to Russia or when, but it has definitely come to light that several consignments of ballistic missiles including Fatah-360 have been sent. This development has come to light when Ukraine has also intensified attacks by entering Russia. The US and Western countries have expressed concern over Iran’s role during Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. Iran has previously provided drones to Russia and helped build drone manufacturing plants for Russia.
