A three-storey house collapsed in Meerut, one dead, 10 people feared trapped, administration busy in rescue efforts

A major accident happened in Meerut, UP on Saturday evening. Where a three-storey house suddenly collapsed in Zakir Colony of Lohia Nagar police station area. Due to this, more than 10 people of the same family got buried under the debris. According to the information, one person has died. On the other hand, on receiving the information, NDRF and police are engaged in removing the debris and evacuating the people.

This accident is of Lohia Nagar police station area of ​​Lisadi Gate. Nafo Alauddin’s three-storey house is in street number 8 of Zakir Colony. There is a dairy below his house. His three-storey house collapsed due to rain on Saturday evening. Due to this, a young man died while more than 10 people were buried under the debris. On the other hand, there was a stir in the administration on receiving the information. Police and fire brigade along with others got involved in the rescue work. Commissioner Selva Kumari J, SSP Vipin Tada, SP City Ayush Vikram Singh reached the spot and took stock of the situation. CM Yogi Adityanath has also taken cognizance of the matter and has given instructions to expedite the relief work and for the treatment of the injured.
