A woman named Monica donated ₹5 lakh to Congress, Election Commission released data – India TV Hindi

The Election Commission on Thursday made public some more data related to electoral bonds. In the list of electoral bond buyers, a woman named Monica donated Rs 5 lakh to Congress through electoral bonds. This information has been received from the details submitted by State Bank of India (SBI) to the Election Commission on Thursday.

5 electoral bonds purchased in October 2021

Only the first name Monica is recorded in this list. He purchased five electoral bonds in October 2021, each worth Rs 1 lakh. Monica has given a total of Rs 5 lakh to the Congress party through electoral bonds.

Election Commission gave details of 2 files on its website

As per the order of the Supreme Court, SBI on Thursday made all the information available with it regarding electoral bonds available to the Election Commission. Subsequently, the Election Commission uploaded two separate lists of those who made donations and those who received it on its website. The Commission has given details of two files on its website. One file contains the names and amounts of those who donated, while the other file contains details of the political parties and amounts that received donations. (Language)
