Bharat Jodo Yatra In Maharashtra: Former Maharashtra CM’s son and former minister Aaditya Thackeray joined the Congress’s Bharat Jodo Yatra. On Friday (November 11) in Hingoli, he did a padyatra with Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. On Thursday, on the 64th day of the yatra, NCP leader Supriya Sule also joined the yatra with Rahul Gandhi in Nanded. Party’s state president Jayant Patil and NCP leader Jitendra Awhad also participated with him.

NCP President Sharad Pawar was also to take part in the Bharat Jodo Yatra, but he did not attend it due to health reasons. Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said on Thursday (November 10) that he (Pawar) was admitted to the hospital recently and will not attend the yatra in view of doctors’ advice to take rest.

What did the Uddhav faction say?
Uddhav faction leader Sanjay Raut said on Thursday (November 10) that Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ is a movement to end the atmosphere of bitterness and unite the country. Raut told this while talking to reporters after meeting NCP President Sharad Pawar at his home in Mumbai.

India Jodi Yatra passing through Maharashtra
The India Jodo Yatra of Congress started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on 7th September. After Tamil Nadu, this padyatra has reached Maharashtra via Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The yatra will pass through 15 assembly and six parliamentary constituencies of the state. During this a distance of 382 km will be covered. This yatra will enter Madhya Pradesh on November 20.
