Supply from clean renewable energy sources
Adani Group has issued a press release saying that this is the first time in history that 30 lakh homes and other establishments in Mumbai, in which 1.2 crore Mumbaikars live, have been supplied with electricity entirely from clean renewable energy sources. On the occasion of Diwali, on November 12 from 10 am to 2:00 pm, Adani Electricity met the electricity needs of its customers through clean energy sources like solar and wind power.
38% demand met from renewable sources
Adani Electricity said that in the year 2023, we have met 38% of the electricity requirements of our customers from renewable sources.
