After the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav stopped picking up Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati’s phone. This claim has been made by BSP itself in one of its books. BSP further said that after SP’s seats decreased in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav stopped picking up Mayawati’s phone.
BSP made a big disclosure
BSP released ‘Bahujan Samaj Party booklet’, which is being distributed among party workers. In this, party chief Mayawati has revealed about the breaking of alliance with SP. Mayawati has made a big revelation in a booklet that after losing seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, SP leader Akhilesh Yadav had stopped picking up her phone.
Due to this, the decision was taken to separate from SP
The booklet further states, “In order to keep BJP away from power in the country, SP and BSP came together in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and both fought the elections together. When the results of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections came out, BSP got 10 seats and SP got 5 seats, after which SP leader Akhilesh Yadav started behaving differently and even stopped picking up the calls of the BSP chief and other senior leaders of the party. Due to this, the party decided to separate from the SP while maintaining its self-respect.” Let us inform you that this booklet of BSP is of 59 pages, which is being distributed among the party officials and workers in view of the by-elections and the upcoming elections.
Akhilesh gave this answer
When journalists questioned SP chief Akhilesh Yadav about the revelations made in this booklet at an event on Thursday, he said, “When the alliance broke, I was on the stage of a meeting in Azamgarh. There, SP-BSP workers and many leaders were present. No one knew that the alliance was going to break.”
Yadav further said, “I myself had called to know why this alliance is being broken, because what will I answer when the press will ask me after the public meeting? Sometimes such things are said to hide one’s own things.”
