Ahmedabad-Bhuj Vande Metro: How much will be the fare, which stations will have stoppages; Full details of Ahmedabad-Bhuj Vande Metro are out

India’s first Vande Metro train is going to be launched. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the train on Monday. There is also news that just a few hours before the inauguration, the name of Vande Metro has been changed. Now it will be known as Namo Bharat Rapid Rail. With the entry of this metro train, the journey of passengers traveling between Ahmedabad and Bhuj is going to be comfortable.

What will be the route of Vande Metro

The number of Bhuj-Ahmedabad Vande Metro will be 94802. This train will start its journey from Bhuj at 5:05 am and is expected to reach Ahmedabad at 10:50 am. The train will cover the distance between the two stations in 5 hours 45 minutes. After this, the return train 94801 will leave from Ahmedabad at 5:30 pm and will reach Bhuj at 11:10 pm.

Stoppages of Vande Metro

During the journey, the train will stop at 9 stations, which include Anjar, Gandhidham, Bhachau, Samakhyali, Hamvad, Dhrangadhra, Viramgam, Chandlodia and Sabarmati. The special thing is that the train will run on the tracks 6 days a week. 94802 going from Bhuj to Ahmedabad will not run on Sunday. Whereas, 94801 i.e. train from Ahmedabad to Bhuj will not run on Saturday.

how much will the fare be

According to media reports, the minimum fare of Vande Metro is Rs 30, which includes GST. Talking to Times of India, Indian Railway officials have said that the fares of Vande Metro have been kept ‘cheap’ and are less than the fares of AC trains of Mumbai local train network. This rail facility will start for the general public from Tuesday, September 17. Passengers will have to pay Rs 455 for the entire journey.

Vande Metro renamed

Railways changed the name of Vande Metro train a few hours before its inauguration and it has been renamed as ‘Namo Bharat Rapid Rail’. On Monday, the government informed about changing the name of this train. Along with this, Vande Bharat train running between Meerut and Delhi has also been named ‘Namo Bharat Rapid Rail’.
