Captain Shashikiran, CPRO of North Western Railway said that under the new plan, night patrolling has been increased on large bridges and tunnels during the night. In coordination with the state police, instructions have been given to be vigilant at these places. Trackmens counseling has been started. Along with them counseling of loco pilot and guard has been started. Taking lessons from this incident, senior railway officials themselves will go for continuous inspection.

RPF officers will be in constant touch with the state police
Railway has its own force RPF for security, but it is mostly stationed at railway stations or its trains are on duty. But now RPF officers will be in constant touch with the state police. A team of RPF officers will continuously work on the inputs of the state police. Trackmen will patrol continuously through rail vehicles on hundreds of kilometers of railway tracks passing through desert or forest. Apart from this, more precaution will be taken while operating trains like Shatabdi or Rajdhani.
