Encounter in Unnao: Dharmaraj Singh, father of Anuj Pratap Singh, accused of Sultanpur robbery, who was killed by UP STF in Unnao, has commented on Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. The Samajwadi Party was constantly alleging that Mangesh Yadav was killed because he was a Yadav, whereas other accused in the same case were arrested by shooting them in the leg or by surrendering in the court. Meanwhile, in the early hours of Monday, news came from Unnao that another accused of this robbery, Anuj Pratap Singh, was killed in an encounter. After the encounter of Anuj Pratap Singh, Unnao Superintendent of Police Deepak Bhukar said that Anuj was injured in the encounter while his companion managed to escape. Anuj was taken to the nearest community health center from where he was sent to the district hospital. Doctors declared him dead at the district hospital. Anuj was carrying a bounty of Rs 1 lakh. Criminal cases were registered against him earlier as well. Two pistols, seven empty cartridges, three live cartridges and a bag containing looted silver were recovered from the spot. The police have also recovered a bike from the spot.
