‘All faces involved in corruption coming together on one platform’: PM Modi hits out at opposition parties

New Delhi. Attacking the opposition parties strongly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that the leaders involved in corruption are coming together on one platform and some parties together have launched a ‘save the corrupt’ campaign. In his address after inaugurating the expansion of the central office of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Modi said that when India is being blared all over the world, the ‘anti-India forces’ sitting inside and outside the country should It is natural to unite.

He said, “These powers somehow want to snatch a period of development from India.” He said that today if India’s potential is going towards heights again, then it has a strong foundation behind it, which is in its constitutional institutions. He said, ‘That’s why today this foundation of ours is being hurt to stop India. Constitutional institutions are being attacked. A campaign is being launched to defame him. A conspiracy is being hatched to destroy his credibility.

The Prime Minister said that when agencies take action against those involved in corruption, the agencies are attacked and when the court gives a verdict, questions are raised on it. He said, ‘There are attacks on the judicial system. You all are seeing that some parties together have launched a campaign to save the corrupt. Today, all the faces involved in corruption are coming together on one platform.

PM Modi said that the whole country is watching and understanding this. He said, ‘Corruption has done a lot of damage to our country and made it hollow like a termite.’ It is worth mentioning that in the second phase of the budget session of the Parliament, from the very first day, due to uproar in both the Houses, there is a situation of obstruction. Members of opposition parties, including the Congress, are demanding the formation of a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on the Adani issue.

Congress protests intensified in the wake of former Congress president Rahul Gandhi being disqualified from membership of the Lower House after a Surat court convicted him in a defamation case and sentenced him to two years imprisonment. PM Modi said that earlier governments only provided food in the name of action against corruption, whereas the campaign against corruption launched by the BJP government in the last nine years has shaken the roots of both corruption and corrupt people.
