Betting is also completely banned here. If someone is found selling or drinking liquor secretly, he has to pay a fine to the Gram Panchayat as punishment.

In fact, 4 months ago, dozens of people in Kurdi village used to buy a large number of liquor from the liquor shop and sell it illegally in the village. Due to which there used to be a gathering of alcoholics in public places. After drinking alcohol, he used to create a situation of dispute in the village. Every day disputes related to alcoholics used to come to the fore in the village. The villagers were very worried about this.

In the same year, in the month of July, a meeting was organized in the Panchayat in the presence of villagers and members of the Village Development Committee. With the consent of the people present in the meeting, it was decided that if anyone sells liquor in the village, he will have to pay a fine of Rs 10,000 to the panchayat. If someone buys liquor illegally, he will have to pay a fine of Rs 15,000.

30 thousand rupees have been collected as fine from 12 people selling liquor in Kurdi village. 50 thousand rupees have been recovered as fine from two persons who wrote the bet.

Apart from this, if someone is seen drinking alcohol while sitting in the open in a public place, he will also have to deposit Rs.500 in the Panchayat as a penalty. Not only this, if someone is found writing betting in the village, then he will have to pay a fine of Rs 50,000 directly.

To curb illegal work, 21 CCTV cameras have been installed in the public places of Kurdi village. This is so that those who sell liquor, drink liquor and gamblers can be monitored. The sarpanch says that before the month of July, Rs 30,000 has been collected as fine from 12 people who sold liquor illegally, while Rs 50,000 has been collected as fine from the two people who wrote the book. Till now 80 thousand rupees have been recovered from those who do illegal work.

After the decree issued in the meeting, neither liquor is sold in the village nor anyone drinks it in the open for five months. The business of speculators has also stopped, due to which there is an atmosphere of peace in the village.
