The problems of Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal have increased once again. On one hand, while the political activities of Aam Aadmi Party were at their peak in Delhi on Tuesday, on the other hand, the court rejected two petitions of the party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. Through his petitions, Kejriwal had challenged the summons issued to him by the magistrate court on the complaint filed by the ED in the money laundering case related to the alleged excise policy scam.

A Delhi court on Tuesday dismissed two petitions of Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal challenging the summons issued to him by a magistrate court on a complaint filed by the ED in a money laundering case related to the alleged excise policy scam. Special Judge Rakesh Syal dismissed the revision petition filed by Kejriwal, saying there were sufficient grounds for action against him.

Kejriwal had moved the sessions court against the decision of the magistrate court. The magistrate court had taken cognizance of the ED’s complaint and directed Kejriwal to appear before it. The AAP leader had challenged the summons issued by the magistrate court in the sessions court after two complaints filed by the ED regarding ignoring the summons issued to him. The ED had filed a complaint before the magistrate court and requested that Kejriwal be prosecuted for ignoring several summons issued to him in the money laundering case related to the alleged excise policy scam.

Atishi was unanimously elected as the leader of the legislative party in the meeting of MLAs called by the Aam Aadmi Party.
