Amritpal Singh: Amritpal declared fugitive, big action by Punjab Police, search is going on everywhere

Chandigarh. Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh’s difficulties are increasing. Punjab Police has declared Amritpal a fugitive. Jalandhar Police Commissioner Kuldeep Singh Chahal told news agency ANI that Punjab Police personnel are gathering to arrest Amritpal Singh. At the same time, 78 of his people have been arrested and an intensive checking campaign is being conducted. He told that along with confiscating two cars of Amritpal, his gunner has also been caught. The validity of his weapons is being investigated.

On the other hand, Amritpal Singh’s father Tarsem Singh told ANI that we do not have correct information about him (Amritpal Singh). The police searched our house for 3-4 hours. They didn’t find anything illegal. When he came out of the house, the police should have arrested him. According to the Punjab Police, a large-scale statewide search operation is being conducted in the state against Amritpal. Along with this, many Khalistan supporters have been taken into custody. Along with Amritpal Singh, his associates are also absconding, a massive search operation is being conducted to nab them.

Please inform that Amritpal, the head of Waris Punjab De organization is absconding along with some of his colleagues. Meanwhile, there is high alert in entire Punjab. In anticipation of deteriorating atmosphere, mobile internet services have been stopped in Punjab till Sunday afternoon. Police said that information was received on Saturday that Amritpal had reached Jalandhar’s Shahkot Malsian Road with his companions. Police officials arrested seven people of the organization from the spot.

Meanwhile, Amritpal fled. There are two cases against Amritpal in Ajnala police station of Amritsar district. Angered by the arrest of his close friend Lovepreet Singh, Amritpal along with his supporters attacked the Ajnala police station on 23 February.
