Ankit murder case: Accused should surrender within 24 hours, otherwise police’s ‘bulldozer’ will work

Gopalganj. In the murder of Gopalganj student Ankit Kumar, the police has given 24 hours time to surrender the absconding 8 named accused. On not surrendering, the Gopalganj police have said to take attachment action. Sadar SDPO Sanjeev Kumar told that the police have arrested 8 accused in the murder case, in which one is a minor, while raids are going on in Chhapra and other places in search of 8 absconding accused.

The SDPO has claimed that if the arrest is not made within 24 hours, the police will attach it and orders have also been received from the court for this. After the strict action taken by the police, the families of the victims have expressed hope of getting justice. At the same time, now it has to be seen how long the police are able to arrest the accused or take attachment action.
