One has died in this while the other is seriously injured. According to the information received, Karan Rajput and his friend Aditya were going from Dahisar to Kandivali on a bike last Friday. A speeding car hit their bike from behind, due to which both the teenagers were seriously injured. They were taken to the hospital, where Aditya died during treatment. Karan’s condition is critical and he is being treated.
Police have registered a case under sections of the Motor Vehicles Act and the Indian Penal Code. This includes sections like causing death by negligence, endangering life and negligent driving. Police are now scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed on the route to identify and trace the vehicle. A special team has been formed to handle the case.
According to preliminary information, the speeding car hit the bike from behind while trying to overtake. According to an official, the impact was so severe that both the teenagers were thrown in opposite directions and fell to the ground. Aditya suffered a head injury and was bleeding profusely when he was taken to the hospital. He died shortly after.
