Army soldier Kulbhushan Manta, who was injured by terrorists in Kashmir, died, will be given farewell tomorrow

Jammu Kashmir Soldier Martyr: During the encounter with terrorists in Baramula, Kashmir, soldier Kulbhushan Manta made the supreme sacrifice for the country. The Army jawan, who was injured by the terrorist’s bullet, died of cardiac arrest in the hospital. Based on specific intelligence inputs about the presence of a Pakistani terrorist in Vashran village of Baramulla district, a joint cordon and search operation by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police was launched on 26 October 22 at around 5.00 am.

As the search started on Wednesday morning and the search party was moving towards the forest, the terrorists opened fire on the search party. The search team also retaliated. In this gunfight, Rifleman Kulbhushan Manta was shot, after which he was immediately taken to GMC Baramulla by road.

The injured jawan from Baramulla was airlifted to 92 Base Hospital, Srinagar but, at around 11.45 am on 27 October 22, he suffered a cardiac arrest and could not be saved. The martyrdom of the brave soldier was declared at 12.30 pm.

Saluting the martyrdom of Rifleman Kulbhushan Manta on behalf of the Army, it has been said that the martyrdom of the soldier is a symbol of the values, traditions and ethos of the Indian Army. In the family of brave rifleman Kulbhushan Manta, his wife is Neetu Kumari. Veer’s body will be sent to his native place village Gonth, Post Manjoli, Tehsil Kupvi, District Shimla, Himachal Pradesh for the last rites and will be cremated with full military honors on 28 October 22.
