Arvind Kejriwal is in trouble.
Despite visiting the Vipassana Centre, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s troubles are not seeming to be reducing. The Enforcement Directorate i.e. ED has issued the third summons to Kejriwal for questioning. Let us tell you that even before this, ED has sent summons to Kejriwal twice but Kejriwal had refused to appear before the ED, calling this summons politically motivated.

The Enforcement Directorate has issued summons to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to appear before him on January 3 of the new year. Earlier, ED had sent summons to Kejriwal and called him for questioning on December 21. But Kejriwal had left for Vipassana Center on 20th December i.e. Wednesday. He will stay in the Vipassana center till 30th December.
Kejriwal may get into trouble
According to experts, ED can give time to the person appearing before giving valid reasons. Then summons can be given again or after that. If no one comes thrice on ED’s summons then they can take legal route. After this, ED can apply to the court for non-bailable warrant. The court can then issue a non-bailable warrant. This means that if Kejriwal does not go even on the third call of ED, he may get into big trouble.
ED summons politically motivated- Kejriwal
Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal had issued a statement on the last summons received from ED. He had said that the ED summons was politically motivated. Therefore it should be withdrawn. He said that I have lived my life with honesty and transparency. I have nothing to hide. He said that like last time, this time also the summons of ED is illegal.
