The condition of railway stations has become bad in many states including Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Punjab. A large number of people are gathered at the stations to go home during the Chhath festival. However, due to the arrangement of trains according to the crowd of passengers, people are just entering the train anyway. So that we can reach our home. Trains are coming to the station one after the other but there is no visible improvement in the situation.
Bad condition at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus
For Chhath Puja, a huge crowd of passengers are still coming to LTT station in trains going from Mumbai to Bihar and UP. When the Darbhanga-Jayanagar bound train reached the platform here, a huge crowd was already present to board the general bogie. However, a stampede broke out after seeing the GRP and RPF personnel who reached the spot.

After India TV showed the picture of huge crowd of passengers and poor condition at LTT station, additional RPF and GRP personnel reached the platform. Here the work of making people stand in queue and getting entry into the train started. GRP and RPF personnel were also seen using mild force to remove the passengers who were not in line from the train.
Ticket holders are also facing problems
After entering the general bogie of Pawan Express parked at the station, many passengers were also seen hanging on the gate of the bogie. These people appeared ready to travel for 30-40 hours by hanging at the gate. Many passengers were found who had tickets but still did not get a chance to enter the bogie. Those passengers who somehow entered inside did not get a seat. The passengers say that no matter how long the journey is, they will continue like this.
