Ban on PFI to continue, Karnataka High Court dismisses petition challenging Centre’s decision

Bangalore. The Karnataka High Court on Wednesday dismissed a petition challenging the Centre’s ban on the Popular Front of India (PFI). This petition was filed by PFI state president Nasir Pasha. The PFI and its affiliated organizations were banned on September 28 under the Anti-Terrorism Act UAPA for carrying out subversive activities in the country and for alleged links with global terrorist organizations.
