The fourth meeting of INDI Alliance, an alliance of many opposition parties of the country, is going to be held in the country’s capital Delhi on Tuesday. Complete preparations have been made for this and the arrival of leaders is also continuing. However, before this meeting, Congress has taken a big step. Before the Lok Sabha elections, Congress has formed ‘National Alliance Committee’. Former Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot and former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel have been given big responsibilities for this committee at the national level.

What will the committee do?

Ashok Gehlot, Bhupesh Baghel, Mukul Wasnik, Salman Khurshid and Mohan Prakash have been given the responsibility of conveners for the National Alliance Committee formed by Congress. According to the information received so far, all these leaders will meet with the opposition parties in view of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 and discuss other matters along with seat sharing.

Will there be discussion on sheet sharing today?

A total of 27 opposition parties including Congress have been invited to attend the meeting of INDI Alliance. Alliance leaders hope that leaders of all parties will come to the meeting. The meeting will be held at 3:00 pm at Ashoka Hotel, Delhi. Prominent leaders including Mamata Banerjee, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Nitish Kumar and Akhilesh Yadav have reached Delhi. Seat sharing formula will be decided in today’s meeting.

Uddav Thackeray made a big demand

Even before the meeting of opposition parties, Uddav Thackeray has made a big demand. He has said that the coordinator of the alliance should be appointed soon and a decision on seat sharing should be taken soon. Along with this, he said that the leaders of all the parties in the alliance should be given respect and the possibilities of including new parties in the alliance should be increased so that division of votes can be prevented.
