Big relief to Abdullah Azam in fraud case, court granted bail, former MLA will remain in jail for now

Former SP MLA Abdullah Azam, who is lodged in Hardoi jail in a fraud case, has got a big relief from the MP-MLA Magistrate Court. The court has accepted his bail plea in the case registered on the charges of buying and selling river land. But Abdullah Azam will remain in jail for now. There are many other cases against Abdullah Azam in which he is yet to get bail. It is known that in January this year, Lekhpal Sanjay Kumar posted in Benazir Ghatampur had filed this case in the city police station. In which it was alleged that illegal plotting has been started on the river land. The Lekhpal expressed apprehension that this will also harm the environment. Plotting in Benazir Ghatampur can also cause floods in the city. It was alleged that Abdullah Azam, along with his friends, has changed the category of river land and started plotting there illegally.

On the basis of the complaint, the city Kotwali police had registered a case against Abdullah Azam as well as his friends Anwar, Salim, Mohammad Parvez and an unknown person under Sections 420, 431, 120B IPC and Public Property Damage Prevention Act, Environment Protection Act. Abdullah Azam’s lawyer Zubair Ahmed Khan said that after the charge sheet was filed in the court in this case, a bail application was filed by Abdullah Azam Khan in the MP-MLA Magistrate Court, which the court has granted bail with the order to submit a personal bond of 50 thousand and two sureties.
