Bengaluru: Karnataka Police has arrested the person who threatened Salman Khan from Haveri. On the information of Pune Police, Haveri Police has detained a person named Bikaram Bishnoi. He had allegedly made a threatening call to Salman Khan’s office. He has been handed over to Pune Police. He is a resident of Rajasthan and was living in Haveri for the last 3 months.
The accused was living with laborers
According to officials, Bikaram, originally from Rajasthan, had worked at a construction site and was living in a room with other laborers in Haveri’s Gaudar area. After receiving information about Bikaram’s whereabouts, Mumbai Police informed Haveri Police, following which he was immediately arrested.
Threatening message was sent to the traffic control room
Haveri Superintendent of Police (SP) Anshu Kumar while talking to the media informed about the incident. He told that Salman Khan was threatened in the form of a message sent to the traffic control room in Worli area of ​​Mumbai. In the message, someone claiming to be a member of the Bishnoi community demanded that the actor either visit their temple and apologize for the killing of the black buck or pay a ransom of Rs 2 crore.
Said to be brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi
The threatening message further threatened that if Salman Khan refused, he would be killed. The accused also identified himself as the brother of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who has been linked to similar threats against the actor in the past. Salman Khan, who has previously received threats from individuals claiming to belong to the Bishnoi community, is yet to publicly comment on the latest developments.
