Patna. Great news has been announced for the students of Bihar. Now the students of Bihar will be able to study in Oxford and Harvard. Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav announced that the Bihar government will send the top 100 students of all the universities of Bihar abroad free of cost to study. Topper students who want to study in all the big universities including Harvard and Oxford and cannot afford the cost of that study, all those students need not worry. The Bihar government will send all of them abroad to study at their own expense.
Deputy CM Tejashwi told that talks have been held with CM Nitish Kumar about this. Tejashwi Yadav had arrived at Patna Women’s College to inaugurate the new auditorium built for girl students. Here, making a big announcement, gave gifts to the students. After this announcement of Tejashwi, the students of Bihar will be greatly benefited in the coming days.
Patna University sought status of Central University
Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav demanded the central government to give the status of Central University to Patna University. Tejashwi said that today the Bihar government is spending 16 percent of its budget on education. Rs 300 crore has been given to Patna University for infrastructure development. If it gets the status of Central University then students will get help.
