Arvind Kejriwal: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made a big disclosure on Saturday (October 5). In the midst of the Gujarat Assembly elections, Arvind Kejriwal claimed that if the Aam Aadmi Party withdraws from the Gujarat elections, then the BJP has offered to release the ministers Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain who are embroiled in the investigation. He said this in NDTV’s Townhall program. He also said that BJP has also given him an offer.
Arvind Kejriwal claimed that BJP had earlier contacted Manish Sisodia and now they are also contacting him. Kejriwal said, “Manish Sisodia rejected his offer to leave AAP and become the Chief Minister of Delhi, he has now approached me… He has said that if you leave Gujarat and do not contest elections there then we are Satyendar Jain and Sisodia.” Will release both and drop all charges against them.”
‘They never make direct contact’
When Arvind Kejriwal was asked who gave him this offer, Kejriwal said, “How can I take my someone’s name…the proposal has come through them…see they (BJP) never approach directly.” . They go from friend to friend and then the message reaches you.”
‘BJP is scared’
Arvind Kejriwal also reacted to the simultaneous elections in Delhi and Gujarat. He said, “Consuming the MCD elections in Delhi does not show that Kejriwal has been cornered. It shows that the BJP is scared. Had he been confident of winning both the places, he would have done this kind of thing. Let’s not insist on the matter. The fact is that the BJP is afraid that they will lose in the Gujarat and Delhi MCD elections, so they have ensured that both the elections are held at the same time.”
AAP Vs BJP
Significantly, in view of the MCD elections of Delhi and the assembly elections of Gujarat, the political mercury has reached the peak in both the states. The central agency seems to be tightening the noose on the leaders of AAP. At the same time, Kejriwal has already said that many people may be jailed till the Gujarat elections, but they will be scared. On the other hand, BJP says that Arvind Kejriwal only tells lies and he has also failed in Delhi and has no base in Gujarat. Let us tell you that there will be assembly elections in Gujarat in two phases. In the first phase, voting will be held on 1st December and in the second phase voting will be held on 5th December. The results of the assembly elections will come on 8 December.
