BJP will give Rajya Sabha ticket from Haryana to the leader who joined from Congress in June! Resigned from MLA post

Kiran Chaudhary, who left Congress and joined BJP, has resigned from Haryana Assembly. She was an MLA from Tosham Assembly. Kiran Chaudhary resigned on Tuesday, which has also been accepted by the Speaker. She has given this resignation at a time when there is a buzz that BJP is going to field her in the Rajya Sabha elections. One Rajya Sabha seat is vacant in the state because Deepender Hooda resigned from the Upper House after winning from Rohtak Lok Sabha seat. BJP has a meeting in Haryana today and after that an announcement can be made regarding the Rajya Sabha candidate.

In such a situation, with Kiran Chaudhary resigning today, speculations are rife that she may be a candidate to go to the Upper House. Sources say that Kiran Chaudhary may file her nomination for the Rajya Sabha by-election on Wednesday itself. Many BJP MLAs may be present with her. Deepender Hooda’s term was left till April 2026. In this way, if Kiran Chaudhary goes to Rajya Sabha, her term will be about two years. In June this year, Kiran Chaudhary left Congress and joined BJP. Along with her, daughter Shruti also joined BJP in June. She has also been an MP from Bhiwani-Mahendragarh seat.

Kiran Chaudhary comes from the Jat community, a community in which the BJP wants to make inroads. She is the daughter-in-law of former Chief Minister and strong leader Bansi Lal. She is considered to have a large support base in the Bhiwani-Mahendragarh region. Kiran Chaudhary was considered to be different from the Bhupinder Singh Hooda camp even while she was in the Congress. It is said that the reason for her leaving the Congress was that she was expecting a Lok Sabha ticket for her daughter Shruti, but instead of her, the Congress gave a chance to Rao Dan Singh. Dan Singh is considered to be Hooda’s confidant. Angered by this, Kiran Chaudhary joined the BJP.
