Black business of selling blood exposed in Patna, 44 bags filled with blood found from the freeze of the house

Patna. Illegal blood business of selling blood has been exposed in Patna, the capital of Bihar. When the police raided a house on Kali Mandir Road No. 1 of Patrakar Nagar police station area, a large number of blood-filled packets were recovered from here. In fact, on Friday, the Kotwali police station arrested the kingpin of the gang who cut the locket. On Saturday, the police had brought him to his house in search of the cut locket, but 44 blood packets, hundreds of syringes and other objectionable items were recovered from inside the fridge kept in his room here.

The police team was surprised to see the number of blood bags kept in the fridge. When the kingpin of the locket gang was questioned, he revealed the name of an employee working in a hospital. After which the police has also arrested him. Patna Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Manavjit Singh Dhillon requested the District Magistrate (DM) to take action in this matter. The drug department has been entrusted with the responsibility of investigating this entire matter. The police is considering the illegal business of blood as a big crime. Preparations are being made to tighten the legal screws against it.

At the same time, if the officials of the Drug Department are to be believed, the illegal business of selling blood of a big private hospital in Patna is connected. Hospital workers are also involved in this black business. The department has constituted a separate team to investigate the whole matter. According to officials, Santosh Kumar, an employee of the blood bank of this private hospital, has been arrested by the police. Two blood banks of the company have been found in the brokerage of blood. Blood banks are sold only to licensed centres, but despite this, getting 44 blood bags from one household raises serious questions.
