During the hearing of a divorce case, the CJI gave unique advice to the woman. CJI said that you will continue fighting the case for 10 years. It is possible that even after ten years the case will continue and the lawyers will remain happy. While advising the woman, he said that it would be better if you compromise among yourselves and get a divorce.
In the Supreme Court, the bench led by CJI DY Chandrachud was hearing the matrimonial transfer. CJI asked the woman, what is your qualification? On this the woman told that she is M.Tech and has done PhD from America. On this the CJI asked where do you work? In response the woman said that she does not work. This CJI said that you are so educated. Do some job.
CJI said that it would be better for both of you to get divorced on the basis of mutual understanding. He said that if the case continues further, there will be criminal complaints and other things. He said that it is possible that you may not want to live with each other. If you guys compromise among yourselves, we can close this case. CJI said that if you people were uneducated then the matter would have been different. But if you are so qualified then you can easily get a job.
