New Delhi : Delhi Police Special has started investigating the incident of lapse in security of Parliament. So far 5 accused have been arrested in this case while the sixth accused Lalit Jha is absconding. Police is busy searching for Lalit Jha. In this case, a case has been registered under UAPA sections and IPC sections 120B, 452.
Investigation will focus on many points
Since the matter is serious, the Special Cell will now focus its investigation on several points in this matter. According to the information, the Special Cell will investigate from where these accused did their school and college studies. In which activities were the accused involved in the last 1 year? Like, did you not meet each other in any protest, rally or any public event?
Mobile and laptop will be examined
Along with this, the Special Cell will also collect information about how many times they came to Delhi and why. When did you come to Delhi before the incident and where did you stay. Had come near the Parliament House on Wednesday for the first time or had done Reiki earlier also. Along with this, if the accused have mobile phones, laptops or any digital devices, they will also be examined thoroughly and their entire history will be scrutinized. Help of IFSO unit of Special Cell can also be taken for this work.
Social media accounts will also be scrutinized
Along with this, the Special Cell will focus the investigation on the social media activity of these accused. Information about which ideology these people are influenced by or what kind of activities they have been associated with will also be collected from the family members. The social media accounts of all the accused will also be investigated. Everyone’s phone call records will be scrutinized. Information will also be collected about who talked to whom before or a day before the incident, whose planning it was and who knew about it.
