Srinagar: Three terrorists were killed on Tuesday following an encounter between security forces and terrorists at Khandipora in Awantipora area of ​​Pulwama district.

Police earlier said that an encounter broke out at Khandipora in Awantipora area of ​​Pulwama district following information about the presence of terrorists in the area.

“Awantipora Police and Army (55 RR) are on the job,” the police had said.

Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Vijay Kumar said that three terrorists have been killed in the Awantipora encounter and the identity of the deceased is being ascertained.
