Meanwhile, Champai Soren has been elected the leader of the legislature party. According to the information, ED has arrested Hemant Soren. After the arrest of Hemant, now the tribal organizations of the state have called for Jharkhand bandh.
Hemant Soren’s statement came
Former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren has issued a letter to his leaders. He has written in the letter – “Today I am going to appear in compliance with the summons of ED. If I am arrested. In such a situation, after due consideration, I have decided to nominate Champai Soren as the new leader of the legislature party. After formally electing him as the leader of the Legislative Party in the meeting of the Legislative Party, along with the leaders of all the allies, all the honorable MLAs will go before the Honorable Governor and stake claim for the formation of a new government under the leadership of the new leader. And showing their rock-solid unity, they will remain present in Ranchi till the formation of the new government.” Hemant has also said that he will not accept defeat.
Tribal organizations called bandh
Tribal organizations of Jharkhand have called for a statewide bandh against the arrest of Hemant Soren. Central Sarna Committee says that 15-20 tribal organizations of the state will participate in the bandh. He said that the closure will not affect emergency services. At the same time, if schools open on Thursday, we will not create any hindrance in them.
Champai Soren was elected leader of the legislature party
Hemat Soren has resigned from the post of CM. Champai Soren has been elected the leader of the legislature party. Champai Soren will now be the new Chief Minister of Jharkhand. But the Governor has not administered the oath to him yet. JMM MLAs kept creating ruckus in Raj Bhavan on Wednesday night to get him sworn in immediately. But the Governor did not take any decision.
