CBSE: Marksheet of board exams from 1975 to 2004 will be available on one click, documents going to be digital

Ex-students who have appeared for Class X and XII examinations from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) before 2004 will no longer have to visit the board for their mark sheets, migration certificates and pass certificates. Such people will now get all this sitting at home with a single click.

CBSE going to digitize records from 1975 to 2004
CBSE is soon going to digitize the examination records from the year 1975 to 2004. So far, the result data of class X-XII from the year 2004 to 2021 is available online.

Time will be saved in getting mark sheet and documents
It often happens with the alumni who have passed the examination from CBSE that they need the documents for job or any other work, but due to lost they are unable to provide the documents. In such a situation, they have to get the duplicate documents removed from the board. It takes more time to get duplicate documents.

In such a situation, in the interest of the students, the board has decided to make the examination related documents from 1975 to 2004 available online. All this will be made available in Digilocker. Along with this, the academic block chain technology will be used by the board to keep the documents related to the exam results safe.

According to CBSE IT and Project Director Antriksh Johri, the result data from 2004 to 2021 has been given online. Now the process of making the pre-2004 data online has been started. This facility will be made available as soon as possible. The records of the year 1975 will be made available in Digilocker.

The Board had prepared the Digital Academic Repository (Result Manjusha) in 2004. In which the results of class X to XII are in digital form. Now the work of digitizing the document after 1975 is in progress and it will be added to the repository in a year’s time.
