The Central Government has approached the Supreme Court regarding the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital case. The Central Government has filed a new petition in the court against the West Bengal Government. The Central Government has demanded to direct the West Bengal Government to cooperate with CSIF in the security of the hospital, or to initiate contempt proceedings against the officials who disobeyed the court orders.

The Central Government has filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the West Bengal Government regarding the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital case. In the petition, the Central Government has accused the Mamata Government that CSIF jawans have been deployed for the security of the hospital, but they are not getting enough space to live, especially the women jawans. Due to this, the jawans deployed for security are facing difficulty in performing their duties.

The central government has also alleged that the West Bengal government is disobeying the court orders and is not cooperating with CISF, which is a serious issue. The central government has said that this disobedience is not only a disobedience of the court orders, but is also against constitutional and moral principles. The Center has demanded the court to give instructions to the West Bengal government, or initiate contempt proceedings against the officers who disobey the court orders.
